Field Description:

The email address of the author of the item. Typically, this field is only used if the author is different than the feed's Editor (Managing Editor).

Including a name for the email address in this field is optional. The proper syntax for doing so would be: user@myemail.com (John Doe).

Field Usage:

This is an optional field.
