Many RSS feed publishers have a scheduled for when their new content is published (made available to their audience). Rather than entering the next publish date manually each time, the Smart Date button is programmed to automatically advance the Pub Date to the next desired publish date.
The default behavior of the Smart Date button is to enter the current date and time into the Pub Date field. Use this tab to program the Smart Date button to enter a more useful date and time. Any changes to the Smart Date settings made on this tab will be used for all feeds.
Smart Date settings made under the 'Current Feed' tab will override settings made here.
