Uploading (Publishing) a Feed
Previous  Top  Next

Use FeedForAll to publish your feed on a Web server so that users can access it. Access the 'Publish' screen by clicking on the 'Publish' button in the Feed tab's button bar, or choosing the 'Publish' option from the 'Feed' menu.

The Publishing function uses the FTP protocol to upload you feed to a webserver. You also have the option to upload the feed's image, and any enclosures you have setup for your items, all in one step.

publish

The first time you use the Publish screen, the 'Site' list will be empty. Click the 'Edit' button to create a new FTP site to upload you feed to.

·Test Settings: This will make a test connection to the FTP server to be sure the Server Address, Username, and Password are correct.

Once you have entered the correct information and tested the settings, click on the Apply button (the checkmark) to save your new site. Feel free to setup multiple FTP sites at this time, if you will be uploading your feeds to multiple servers.
