Afriad I don't know what causes this problem, but I have solved it by starting from scratch and using the templates

I have followed the instructions and created a feed combining 2 feeds, but when I display the page nothing is visible. However when I look at the code, all the data is present.

The page is here;

I am viewing it in Firefox.

Any help appreciated.
Thanks

Sorted it!
In case anyone else has the same problem, using version 2.56;

All instances of
<meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html;charset=UTF-8">
still set to UTF-8

but,

in rss2html.php, in the comments section, ensure
$destinationEncoding = "ISO-8859-1";

Hi,

I've updated the template and main page to UTF-8, however it now displays degree symbols as .

I've also altered the rss2html.php file in the comments section.

mainpage
http://www.safeberths.com/rsstest1.htm

URL called
http://www.safeberths.com/RSS/rss2html.php?XMLFILE=http://feeds.bbc.co.uk/weather/feeds/rss/5day/id/2070.xml&TEMPLATE=http://www.safeberths.com/RSS/template1.html&MAXITEMS=5

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Boue

Hi,

I'm having trouble displaying degree characters for the temperatures in a feed from the BBC weather site. The character is being displayed as °

I've set up a basic example here;

http://www.safeberths.com/rsstest1.htm

Could anyone let me know why they are displaying incorrectly and how to fix the problem.

Thanks

Boue
