PostForum: SQL2RSS (MySQL to RSS Feed Creator)   Posted: Fri Jul 08, 2011 7:48 am   Subject: Atom [self] Link Question...
SQL2RSS is up and running fine, but validates with a recommendation per this link http://validator.w3.org/feed/docs/warning/MissingAtomSelfLink.html can you shed some light on this please?

I have done my google searches and nobody seems to be screaming "get it done!" - Atom etc. is new to me and I want to be sure I am not missing out on something, what is the benefit? am I right in thinking that this would affect caching when this declaration is included? would that not be a disadvantage when I want the feed to refresh completely each and every time?

Just want to pick your brains! - feedback appreciated

I have just purchased your sql2rss and downloaded the script. I followed your instructions at http://www.feedforall.com/sql2rss-documentation.htm and, eh... what am I meant to do now?

There were no instructions in the download folder and I only happened across the above link by searching on google, am I missing something. Can you please help me to get this working?

I have PHP and MySQL working with data present, I input the comms info per requirement in above link, no idea what I was meant to do with it after, followed the rest of your instruction as closely as seemed reasonable... dropped everything onto my server...

I guess I just need someone to talk me through this...
