PostForum: Program Support (FFA Win)   Posted: Sat Dec 01, 2012 8:23 am   Subject: In Chrome XML files does not have any style
When I used my Chrome browser to see our church's Rss audio messages and when I clicked to see them the following message appeared: "XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with itl The document tree is shown below".

I never had this problem before. The odd thing is that the RSS logo in the upper right hand corner when I click that it works.

It works fine in IE & Firefox. Only in Chrome does this problem appear.

The page in question is at http://www.clcnj.com/clcfeeds.xml
Any suggestions

I'm trying to create a podcast for my church. There is something that i'm doiing wrong. When I go to publish and the Publish Feed box comes up, at the bottom a message says
The 3 Keys (that's the name of one of my items)
no local file defined,
The 3 Keys Part II
no local filed defined.
On my items list I have the in the Link
http://www.clcnj.com/1_audio/8-26-12_3-Keys.mp3
What am I doing wrong? I hope that I made the clearer than mud

Thanks

If you go to www.davefraser.net and at the top menu click Services and select Weekly Services, then on the weekly service page scroll down to the bottom of the page after the last paragraph you'll see the word Click. Click it and it will take you to the media page. You'll see that there is just the site page and no skin. If you click the message title I have a MP3 short music file that's played. Is that all correct can it be done that way? Any suggestions will really help. Thanks

Does anyone have a site with the skins you can select from FFA. That I could see and maybe get an idea of how to put it on my church's web site. If you look at the site it's still in progress puting it together, on the side menu click Media and see what I mean.www.davefraser.net

Could someone walk me through this, i'm not grasping the how to. I have the website, do I create a page to put the skin on? and if I do have too how do I get the skin onto the page. I bet it's real easy, but as you can see i'm not the brightest light on the tree. I tested it any all went well with uploading to the site server. But as I said before where is the skin?
I looked at this page http://www.faithlifechurchnj.com and to ytheir Multimedia page, is this the way it should look?

I downloaded the FFA and followed the instructions that were posted on the site about the problem installing with Windows7. I have Windows7 Ultimate (x64). Here's what I did:
1. Right clicked feedforall.exe
2. ran as Administrator
3. Clicked Insall
4. Clicked 2 next
5 Clicked Browse-In the corner, the change read C:\Program File (86)\NotePage\feedforall. Changed it to read C:\feedforall\
6.Clicked OK
7. Clicked next
It started to install then an error message came up sayingffsetup.exe has stopped working.
The install progress screen then grayed out.

I want to know if this is the program I want to use. Here are a few questions I want to ask. I did browse the FeeForAll site, but i'm still a little confused. I want to know if I can do the following with this program. (I running the web site at my church.)
1. They record the pastors message on a PC. They put it on a memory key. Do I download it to my site to a folder called (ex Media)?
2. Do I make a page on the web site that takes whoever clicks, say Media on the site menu?
3. Does the FFA program build this page with information that I give it
like the message title
I'm going to stop here for now.
Can I make a page say Media.html, up load it to my server, that has the message topic or topics (if more than one). The topic is clicked and the message begins to play. I know this is as clear as mud, so forgive me.
Thanks
