I just used FeedForAll Mac to create a feed for a podcast I'm starting.
I put the podcast MP3 in www.magalogguy.com/podcast
When I test things in iTunes by pointing to that URL, I get the message that Authorization is need to access that folder.
Yet when I go to that directory within my site manager, it shows that User, Group and World can Read and Execute on that folder.
I know I must be missing something obvious, but have no clue what it might be.
Anyone have an ideas on how to solve this?
Thanks. |

Ugh! Figured it out. But I'll put the solution here anyway.
For whatever reason, I thought the URL I was supposed to give iTunes was http://www.magalogguy.com/podcast.
What I should have given it was the full URL with the .xml file in it.
That would have been .../podcast/myfeed.xml.
Made all the difference. :) |
