Hello Everyone. I just downloaded FFA and have a very basic question. Once I set up the feed, I will get an xml document saved correct?

Do I then simply upload that xml file to my ftp and that is how it will distribute, or people can bookmark my feed? I am a beginner with rss. Or is there some sort of publishing settings with ffa?

Your help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Yes, once the feed is setup with FFA, you will get a saved xml document. From FFA publish or ftp upload the feed to your designated web server.

For people to subscribe to the RSS feeds on your website, use RSS graphics from http://www.feedforall.com/graphics.htm and auto discovery code at http://www.feedforall.com/autodiscovery.htm

People will subscribe to your feed from your website using a RSS feed reader program or RSS aggregator. Mozilla's Firefox browser refers to feed subscriptions as Live Bookmarks.

Thanks for your answers. Once I have my initial file setup, and I add to that feed, do I save it as another file name and upload that, or do I save it as the same filename and it will add to the content that was previously uploaded?

Thanks.

Once the initial feed is setup, add new items to that feed. Save the new item under the same feed or file name. Then upload the new item to add to the content that was previously uploaded.
