Hmm... well, it depends on what you mean when you say you want to add a price to the feed. Do you want to charge for subscription to the feed or do you want to include price information in your feed items?

Well... at the risk of mentioning something very silly and obvious, if you want to add price information into the items of your feeds... just type it in? I feel like I'm missing something in what you want.

Actually I thought of doing just that. But will it be acceptable with shopping sites? I assume I need a seperate tab for it? Does anyone use feedforall with
shopping sites and what do you do?

I'm not sure I understand the question when you ask if it's compatible with shopping sites?

The point behind a feed, in most cases, is to post it to your own website and to have people subscribe to it so they can find out any new items you've posted or any updates to existing items. If you have pricing information in the items, whoever has subscribed to your feed will see that pricing information. Like I said, I think I'm still missing something with what you want.

Yes that is correct. That is the simple part. It's the shopping sites that gets confusing. They want it with certain information so they can display on the
website, when someone searches. They require a price for the product? That is
where my problem is? I just need to know if this program has a option to add a price tab-just like the item tab and the image tab? Or is anyone using it for a shopping site and how they set it up?They say it has to be setup in this format.
Maybe I am missing something.I have just worked so hard to get this going.
Still don't completely understand it all.But trying very hard.

Hmm... well, from the sound of it, it just sounds like they want the price to show up in the Title or Description of the item within the feed. So, to answer your question, there isn't a specific Price tab in the program but it doesn't sound like you need one. Just be sure to put the price information in either the Title or Description fields of the item. That makes it searchable.

Where do the shopping sites say they specifically want the prices in the RSS feeds?

An RSS feed may contain elements not in the required elements or Title, Description and Link fields, if those elements are defined in the other sites' namespace or extension. An RSS feeds' extension or namespace allows a set of new fields, defined by the other sites, to be used in the feeds.

In FeedForAll's Extensions' tab, create and use another site's own custom elements (tags). Refer to 'Getting Started' - 'Extensions (namespaces)' in FeedForAll's Help files or manual at http://www.feedforall.com/feedforall-documentation.htm

Do the shopping sites' have a RSS extension or namespace?
