Hi, we have used Feed For All for a while now and are generally very pleased with it.

We have several people using FFA to update our news feed from different parts of the world and each has access to the same XML file on our server.

However, when one person publishes their file from one location, the others have to download the latest version before they can add any new items to it or they’ll overwrite the other person's changes. This is really causing us a headache.

Is it possible to set Feed For All to simply append new items to the file rather than overwriting it completely? That option would make Feed for All so much more useful.

Thanks, Tony

Unfortunately, the answer to the question is no. FeedForAll was really mean tot be a single computer, self contained program, so each copy of FeedForAll assumes it's creating the 'master' copy of each feed. Networking multiple copies, or adding an append or update feature, is something we are looking into but we do not currently have it implemented.
