When I attempt to Publish my podcast, the results are:

"Failed to allocate memory, can't continue"

This has happened with consistency beginning mid-March. It was working fine before then for many months, and there were no changes made to the feed that caused this to my knowledge.

The audio file uploads to the podcast repository server, but the podcast doesn't show up in iTunes. If I publish again, it will complete successfully and also shows up in iTunes. It seems to me that the error occurs in the XML update?

The FTP log shows no errors or issues at all.

I am using version 2.1.0.1

Any help is very much appreciated. Thanks!

Hm... that's a bit odd, especially considering it works on the second go round. What's the link to your feed? I'd like to have a look to see if there's anything that jumps out at me and I'll also do a bit of digging in to the error in context of what we're trying to do here.

The link to my feed; is that the URL to my RSS file? Sorry, I'm fairly new to the world of podcasting.

Yes, that would be the URL to your RSS file.

There are a few things I've noticed that you'll want to resolve but I don't know if they're directly causing the issue with iTunes.

While your feed is in the proper encoding, UTF-8, your web server is configured to use the "US-ASCII" format. I'd recommend speaking with whoever develops your website and ask them to change the encoding used.

The second thing you'll want to do is add an "Editor" to the feed:

1) Open your feed in FFA.

2) On the right hand side, click on the "Optional" tab.

3) Specify an email address in the "Editor" field.

Ok, I'll look into both of those items.

Another wrinkle that I failed to mention in my first post is that we have two feeds that are hosted on the same webserver. Here is the link to the other feed that as far as I know operates exactly the same without issue.
