I want to start writing a blog. My problem is what to do first. Is there any step by step process on doing it?

FeedForAll's blog uses the rss2html script and FeedForAll software at http://www.feedforall.com/blog.htm

People can subscribe to your blog and easily get updates by creating RSS feeds. Download a free trial of FeedForAll software at
http://www.feedforall.com/software.htm

The free rss2html.php script automatically displays RSS feeds as HTML on a web page. The RSS feed content can be indexed, and spidered by search engines. Download the free rss2html.php script at http://www.feedforall.com/scripts-directory.htm

Blogging articles are at http://www.feedforall.com/newsletter.htm

Having trouble wrapping head around RSS. With wordpress blog I could copy & paste html code generated on feedburner to get chiclet. Can I do that with the feed I created with feedforall? Want to create a page listing all feeds on my website with subscribe buttons. How do I get the feedforall feeds I create onto my not-a-wordpress site? Looked through video tutorials and forum, didn't see this info. I'd really appreciate your help. thanks.

For people to subscribe to the RSS feeds from your website use:

button graphics from http://www.feedforall.com/graphics.htm

and

auto discovery code at http://www.feedforall.com/autodiscovery.htm

Ok, so this is where I show how confused I am. Thanks for your response but I still don't understand how I get the feed onto my site. I believe I created the autodiscovery code and put it in my header tags. Was that supposed to make the feed visible on my website? Because it didn't. The wizard walks me through to create and save a feed. What's next? How do I actually access the feeds to use them? The video tutorials just say upload feed. How do I do that? Where do I find an explanation of 'download' and 'publish'? I don't have a wordpress blog where I can ftp something to the root directory. I have an ecommerce site with blog attached. thanks.

How do you get content to your website?

Getting RSS feeds from software onto a website, involves publishing or FTP uploading. Refer to: 'Using FeedForAll' - 'FeedForAll' - 'Publishing' in FeedForAll's Help files or manual at http://www.feedforall.com/feedforall-documentation.htm

The tutorial "Publishing your first podcast with FeedForAll Mac" may be helpful at http://www.feedforall.com/tutorials/

The auto discovery code enables a user's web browser to automatically detect and subscribe to your RSS feeds on your website. Putting a graphic button on your website also enables someone to subscribe to your feed using their RSS feed reader or RSS aggregator. In the Help files or manual, also refer to: 'What's Next?'

Thank you feedforall sales for the link to the help files. I did not find any of that information in what was provided when I ordered the software. It was a huge help. I uploaded the first feed I created with the feedforall software to my site. Thanks.

I want to submit the feed I created to RSS directories. I understand I'm supposed to submit the feed URL but what is that specifically.. the URL of the xml file? The URL of the feed page as displayed on my site? The URL of the xml feed file is long and contains a lot of information in it. Is that okay to broadcast everywhere? thanks.

Right, the feed's URL is the link to the XML file that you uploaded from FFA to your website.
