to provide a communications network for their
customers. Primarily this is meant to be for support
purposes i.e. to give a targeted notification
of issues in a timely manner to whichever sub-group
of customers may be affected.

system to provide notification of product upgrades
and sales promotions. The intent is to create
something more pervasive than a portal but less
intrusive than e-mail.
