PostForum: SQL2RSS (MySQL to RSS Feed Creator)   Posted: Tue Feb 02, 2010 9:00 am   Subject: SQL2RSS & Mod_Rewrite
Hi - I have a number of feeds created with Feed 4 All and SQL2RSS and am wondering if anyone has used mod_rewrite to change the URL for a feed.

I.e. when a user types in to their browser address bar:

http://www.mydomain.com/feeds/headlines/

It goes to the feed at:

http://www.mydomain.com/feeds/rss.php?CONFIGFILE=rss_headlines_config.php

Or is there a better way to do this?

nobody?

Is there anyone that has had success publishing dates of articles with this?

Just need to know the format of the dates you are using in your mySQL table and I'm sure I can figure it out from there...

thanks again.

Hi - I am having trouble getting article published dates to appear on my feed.

The SELECT statement is getting all fields *

My form is publishing the date to the mySQL server field using UNIX format.

The dates are in mySQL table in their field as ex: 2008-06-04

Is this the correct format? Should the table field in the DB be set to DATE? Does that in fact convert it back to mySQL date?

Thanks - love your script and hope to get this resolved so I can use it!
