Thank you for taking the time to check on this. It's a relief to know everything looks good. Feels a little like I'm working in the dark because I won't necessarily notice if there ever is a problem since it looks okay to you but not okay to me. Thanks again.

okay. Here is one of the feeds:

It is the first feed I created with Feedforall so if you see something wacky, please let me know. Thanks.

When I checked I discovered the author field requires an email address otherwise it is to remain blank. That's why I posted my question. :)

I couldn't find anything to do with a subject field. This can't be the only time this has happened...not only does it look unprofessional and a little screwy, but when you open the feed it hasn't got the title and description in it because they've been put in the author and subject field.

Any way to fix this?

Not sure it's outlook settings - I have several feeds coming in and NONE of them have the title/description showing up as author/subject line EXCEPT the Feedforall feed I created. Is there a setting in Feedforall I need to change? thanks.

I want to submit the feed I created to RSS directories. I understand I'm supposed to submit the feed URL but what is that specifically.. the URL of the xml file? The URL of the feed page as displayed on my site? The URL of the xml feed file is long and contains a lot of information in it. Is that okay to broadcast everywhere? thanks.

Follow up to that - what do you mean when you say you'll want to update your feed... do you mean open the original feed file in feedforall and add new content as additional items then upload that xml file to my website? I want to make sure people don't get the same feed content repeatedly...

When I subscribed to the feed I created (I don't have a feedreader other than Outlook) I didn't get one feed but seven feeds in my inbox - one for each item in the feed. Is that normal?

Also, the 'title' and 'description' of the feed showed up in the 'author' and 'subject' fields respectively of the email. How do I correct that? I have created feeds using feedburner for a blog and subscribed using same Outlook and that didn't happen.
thanks

Thank you feedforall sales for the link to the help files. I did not find any of that information in what was provided when I ordered the software. It was a huge help. I uploaded the first feed I created with the feedforall software to my site. Thanks.

Ok, so this is where I show how confused I am. Thanks for your response but I still don't understand how I get the feed onto my site. I believe I created the autodiscovery code and put it in my header tags. Was that supposed to make the feed visible on my website? Because it didn't. The wizard walks me through to create and save a feed. What's next? How do I actually access the feeds to use them? The video tutorials just say upload feed. How do I do that? Where do I find an explanation of 'download' and 'publish'? I don't have a wordpress blog where I can ftp something to the root directory. I have an ecommerce site with blog attached. thanks.

Having trouble wrapping head around RSS. With wordpress blog I could copy & paste html code generated on feedburner to get chiclet. Can I do that with the feed I created with feedforall? Want to create a page listing all feeds on my website with subscribe buttons. How do I get the feedforall feeds I create onto my not-a-wordpress site? Looked through video tutorials and forum, didn't see this info. I'd really appreciate your help. thanks.
