Hi

When a page loads when ussing the Rss2Html script along with RssMesh, the page waits until all the feeds have been compiled and then loads the page. So, if displaying lots of feeds from many sites, it can take maybe 20 seconds for the page to load. I would prefer to keep the cache time short to refresh every 15 minites so having a long cache time won't solve it. Is there a way to get the webpage to load and wait for the feeds then to display when ready?

Thanks
Damian

Well... not really. The troulbe you're running into is that the script itself has to run. If there's a lot of data, even if it's cached data, the php script still has to go through its own processes to go and get/retrieve/aggregate all of the data. There's a certain amount of wait time that's unavoidable when dealing with a large amount of data/feeds.

Another question plase if possible.

Sometimes the page loads in under 10 seconds, sometimes it takes 30 seconds. Would that be due to some feeds taking longer than others to retieve and if so is it possible to time each feed retrieval to remove the ones that are slow?

thanks
