FFA seems to be a nice and tight piece of code, except it keeps changing my cursor to over-write mode, and I almost never use that, and it uploads playlists before it uploads MP3s, which is backwards. Before I upload my HTML, I upload the MP3s to which it points; no dead links during my upload that way.

So now, when I click on the only validator I know about, besides the internal one in the program:

<a href="http://www.feedvalidator.org/check.cgi?url=http%3A//ecn.ab.ca/%257Ebrewhaha/Sound/podcast.xml"><img src="../img/valid-rss-rogers.png" alt="[Valid RSS]" title="Validate my RSS feed" /></a>

I do not get complaints from using this bit:

<atom:link href="http://ecn.ab.ca/~brewhaha/Sound/podcast.xml"
rel="self" type="application/rss+xml" />

That validator recommends things. In old style language, those are warnings, one of them being to recommend that last bit. I see some sense in that last bit: If someone e-mails your rss (instead of linking to it), then where it came from might get lost (when the only static part of an RSS feed might be the link to it).

You can't use that last bit unless your DTD is at the top of this post, so I hope that, at the very least, FFA does not chanje my DTD when it saves. It did not change the DTD, which is good. It deleted ...atom:link...

FFA already complies with the standard. So, does anyone want to ensure that FFA complies with an external validator in recommendations, too. I mean, if you will ensure that it does not delete things that it should not (atom:link), then you might as well put in more than one DTD.

Thank you for the suggestion. Sorry for the issues. We are looking into this.
