I read some more on the forums and found out about..
$debugLevel = 1; which gave me...
DIAG: FeedForAll_scripts_readFile(rssMesh_Template.xml, 0, 0, -1)
DIAG: FeedForAll_scripts_contentOfCache(rssMesh_Template.xml, 0, -1, 0)
DIAG: FeedForAll_scripts_contentOfCache(): !useCaching
DIAG: FeedForAll_scripts_readFile(): return SUCCESSFUL
DIAG: FeedForAll_scripts_readFile(http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/rss.xml, 0, 1, 3600)
DIAG: FeedForAll_scripts_contentOfCache(http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/rss.xml, 1, 3600, 0)
DIAG: FeedForAll_scripts_contentOfCache(): no cache folder
DIAG: FeedForAll_scripts_readFile(): fopen(): failed
DIAG: FeedForAll_scripts_readFile(): return SUCCESSFUL
DIAG: FeedForAll_scripts_readFile(http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/rss.xml, 0, 1, 3600)
DIAG: FeedForAll_scripts_contentOfCache(http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/rss.xml, 1, 3600, 0)
DIAG: FeedForAll_scripts_contentOfCache(): no cache folder
DIAG: FeedForAll_scripts_readFile(): fopen(): failed
DIAG: FeedForAll_scripts_readFile(): return SUCCESSFUL
Could it be those fopen() command failures causing the problems? |

All that time, the only thing I did to fix this...
Is to reinsert the feedforall website in the XML template. I had removed all the data in the template and put in just a few things like description & name. Without the feedforall.com website in there... everything crapped out.
I dont care to have a website address posted in file or in a script, but let people know! I waste about 2 weeks getting this working & nobody seemed to know about it. |

Glad the script is working.
The XML template part doesn't sound correct. We provide the rssMesh_Template.xml with the feedforall.com website as an example. The script should work if you created your own XML template - without the feedforall.com website.
Could you post your XML template so we could see why the feedforall.com website is needed? |
