Hi,
It would be so nice for me as a terrible RSS newbie if FeedForAll would help me understand the technology behind RSS feeds better. Yes, I know the basics, the acronym and stuff. I am proficient in adding newsfeeds to my reader. I know how to handle FeedBurner feeds (I hope FeedForAll will support these soon, btw). But I am also desperately seeking for an explanation, for example, why my feed http://dutchisms.typepad.com/awesome/index.rdf, which is generated by my blog service Typepad just won't get loaded by FeedForAll.

Please shed some light on this. The error message "The file is in an unreadable format. Would you like to try to fix it manuall?" is not very helpful.

Thanks

Marjolein

If you feed is in RSS v1.0 format, then FeedForAll won't read it. RSS 1.0 is VERY different that all the other RSS versions, and is not currently supported. We will be looking into supporting it with a future release.

Is there a way to get FeedBurner to save it to RSS v2.0 format?
