I thought RSS was for blogs then my friend said you could use it for photos? What is going on?

RSS is useful for all sorts of things. People do use it to syndicate blogs and news headlines but it is equally as useful for communicating just about anything. RSS can actually be used for a number of different things including photo galleries with associated information.
