I just downloaded the application this afternoon and I am really impressed by the simplistic nature of the application. I am a technical person, but not code or web developer savy. That being said, I have a few questions before I buy the product.
1. Does the FTP upload only work with the purchased version? I read the help on this, but can't seem to connect when I use the same info as a normal FTP session.
2. So, I have this great feed going to my readers. I have to add a new topic every time I want someone to get new info. What if I wanted the .XML file to auto update every time I add content to my site. For example, my site is www.blogcastrepository.com and every time I have new content added to the top of the page, I want the RSS feed to know the information I post and send to my readers. Is that possible? I know it must because my blogcast sends out the info every time I post.
I will be more than happy to pay for the software I downloaded, but I need to know how to use it and I must be simply missing something.

Is there a way for me to track the number of users reading my RSS feed?

I'll have support answer your first question, but I'll address tracking feeds. At this point tracking the best resource to track RSS feeds is likely your web logs. Just as you evaluate website logs you can track the number of times your .xml feed is accessed. This is one of the weakest areas to RSS as it can be difficult to determine if the traffic is from syndication or as a result of direct marketing efforts.
I have seen companies insert transparent 1x1 gifs uniquely named into each description blog to determine views but I think ultimately observing website traffic will likely be the best traffic indicator.

The FTP is functional in the trial version. Can you post what the FTP log says after you try uploading?

There isn't really a great way to scrape content from a webpage and put it into a feed. However, it is possible to do it the other way around. You could put your new content into an RSS feed using FeedForAll, and then use FeedForAll's export function or our free rss2html.php script to update your webpage with the new info.
