When I read a RSS feed I have only 10 items...
How does Google Reader get the older posts? Where is the URL for me to get any other information besides the last 10 posts?

When you click on the feed, the item should have a URL that takes you to the website.
The RSS feed creator may limit the number of items in the RSS feed and what is displayed on their website.
