Hey all!!

A couple of questions about images.

1- Image tab => image: max size now with iPads (retina displays) is 1400x1400. What size do I need to make my cover art?
Currently I am using 1400x1400 and letting FFA resize it.

2- When I check my feed in iTunes, under my saved podcasts (library) my feed does not show any cover art. Although the cover art displays fine in the iTunes store and apple TV. When I click to "get album artwork" nothing happens.

For now, just keep doing what you're doing. The actual thumbnail is 140x140 but the image can be up to 1400x1400, so you're doing what you should be doing.

Can you provide a link to the feed itself? I want to check what values you have set in the iTunes enclosure fields.

Here is a link to the feed, https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/grace-family-fellowship-grace/id645213069

Again, is fine here but when I subscribe and add this to my library the cover art does not display.

Oh, I mean the link to the actual XML file that you submitted to iTunes for the podcast.

I just checked the actual XML code of your feed and you have all of the appropriate tags and enclosure fields configured to give your iTunes Podcast cover art. You may want to contact iTunes support on why the cover art isn't actually displaying once the feed has been subscribed to. As you mentioned, the cover art is there on their site and displays properly.

Apple said this,
The image which appears in the iTunes Store is referenced in the feed, but the images which appear when you subscribe and play an episode are not - they have to be actually embedded in the feed.

So, how do I embed the image with FFA?

What's odd about that is the fact that you have embedded an image in the feed, I'm looking at it in my feed reader and it's displaying properly. Also, I double checked the code and you have a feed image AND an iTunes image specified, so I'm not actually certain as to why the image isn't showing up when you subscribe... because it is on my end. Granted, I'm not using the iTunes subscription function, I'm using a standard feed reader, so that may be part of the difference.

Who are we but mere mortals that question the logic of the all and powerful Apple? ;-)

Apple did provide this link, I am posting it for others that may have the same issues I am having, http://www.wilmut.webspace.virginmedia.com/notes/coverart.html

So, from what I gather I need to use an ID3 tag editor to embed a 600x600 image into the .mp3 files.

Like you say, the image is embedded into the .xml file but Apple it looking into the actual .mp3 for this image.

This could be a whole lot easier!!

From what the article and what I've read this tells me its so that if you want to create a custom image specifically for each individual .mp3 then you could possibly do that.
