Hello,

I have a webpage with product specials (a link/title that when clicked, opens a PDF) and I'd like to have this page/these specials broadcast to subscribers.. Is this something that RSS can do?

Ultimately, I'd like for subscribers to be able to download a live bookmark and have these links updated periodically - without them having to visit my page to view the specials..

Is this possible with RSS?

Yes, a number of people use RSS to highlight specials. You can include PDF links as enclosures, as some readers might stumble on them. If possible I would stick with HTML web pages to insure compatibility with the maximum number of readers and aggregators.

The RSS feed will update in the reader each time a new item is added.

What you describe sounds like a perfect fit for RSS. The main idea of RSS is that users can start up their RSS reader each morning and get all the latest information, from several sources, all in one place.
