Hi.. still new to podcasting I have several questions I hope someone coule advise.
1. I have been told audioblog.com is perfect for covering everything to do with podcasting, like you can upload your mp3 to them and they will create a player for your blog so people can listen immediately, you can also have a link to your mp3 file for people to download it and they have something for itunes. question is have you used audioblog? do you recommend them ? if not what are the alternatives.. I really like the players they have and i cant find any for BLOGS
2. do you recommend using a certain webhost or will any do?
3. Anyone have a good link to a site that explains creating a podcast, uploading, creating a rss for that one, and how to submit it to itunes and also have little buttons on your blog that let people subscribe to your podcasts.

I'm using libsyn.com for hosting and bandwidth. This starts at $5/month. You won't get shut down if your cast gets popular and you overstep your bandwidth limit. Also it will allow you to start with just a blog, but if you get your own website you can just have them be the backend to the operation, providing direct mp3 downloads as well as the rss feed. If you wind up signing up, tell 'em mbd referred you!
I found a pretty good article by Phil Torrone called "Podcasting 101" about getting started. I can't find a free version of it right now, I'll try to remember to post that link later when I get home.
Break a leg,
