?Changing the date and time of publication

Greetings,

I created some feeds several days ago and now I want to change the date and time. I clicked on the icon at the bottom and I see the date and time change. I now save my file. When I upload it and go to MyYahoo to add the feed it still shows the old date. Is this a Yahoo issue or am I doing something wrong?

There could be a couple of reasons for what you are seeing.

1. Yahoo will only check back on your feed every once in a while, to look for updates. I simply may not have checked yet. You can try to hurry the process along by sending Yahoo a ping, notifying it that changes have been made. More info here: http://www.feedforall.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=693&highlight=ping

2. Yahoo may not consider the item 'new' or 'changed' if the only thing that has changed is the PubDate. You could try using the Guid field to make it clearer that the item is new, or changed.
