I have a task to check upon dozen of web pages which cooperate with my company, and I am to find out can their web pages support RSS technology.
Analysis I created gave me detailed specifications about their web pages. However after longer search, I was not able to find anywhere on web a simple information. Can your web site supports creation of RSS on it or not ? :/
Is there some validator kind of site which would do it for me or I ll 've to do it step by step?
And also would someone be so kind please to reply me what are minimum requirements for creation of RSS on the web page. I 'll provide the sample of informations i collected about 1 particular web page, and knowing those details is a person able to conclude can that web page support creation of RSS on itself or not ? If there is no written way, can someone write me down everything about the requirements, which technology, which markup language, etc. Thank You very much in advance for your time and caring to help me out.

Here is the sample :

Content Management System: Joomla 2.5.6

Server-side programming language: PHP 5.3.27

Client-side programmming language: Javascript

Javascript libraries: JQuery, MooTools

Markup language: XHTML Transitional 1.0

Character encoding: UTF-8

Image file formats: jpeg, gif, png

Site elements: external CSS, Embedded CSS, Inline CSS, Session cookies, non-httpOnly cookies, non-secure cookies

Web-server: Apache

Operating system: Unix

Top level domain: com

Content language: English, German

Honestly, any website can host an RSS feed. An RSS feed is nothing more, really, than a .xml file that you need to upload and have publicly linked.
