I am currently carry out test recording for my first podcast.
I have a Shure SM58 Mic, mic stand with pop filter and record direct into my PC via my soundblaster card.
Compression and any FX I am going to do on my PC. I have Cakewalk Sonar 5 and Adobe Audition 2.0.
I would appreciate any tips for getting the best out of the sound file such as what compression, EQ settings, adding any FX such as a little reverb.
Any other general recodring tips appreciated also, thanks
