Ok, a massive learning curve consideration is needed here please. I want to create a podcast for my internet radio station that I run. I understand the basics of what is going on here. FEEDFORALL makes it so much easier to understand. Thank you.
BUT!!! I need to know if Feedforall is exactly what I need. First let me tell you what I think I know. I am able to produce MP3 files locally on my computer of 30 minute segment of programming. Feedforall will take that file and upload it to my server along with the RSS feed script for people to get it. I also see that Feedforall is capable of figuring out the appropriate time stamps of the files so that it will send the next sequential segment.
Ok so far?
I did not see where Feedforall is capable of running automatically. But I have not looked averything.
Do I have the right grasp of what is going on? I would think that one might cut the segments into shorter bits to be more "up-to-the-minute" so to speak.
Is this really a good way to stream a live program? Or is it nothing more than an archive of an hour of programming? Does a listener have to get a new RSS file each segment?
Sorry for all this folks. I am just a little confused.

Here is how it would probably work for you:
1. You create .mp3 files for segments of your show.
2. In FeedForAll, you create a new item in your existing RSS feed, for that new segment.
3. You upload the new feed and new .mp3 file to your webserver.
4. When people open or refresh their feed reader, the new segment will show up on their screen.
The process is somewhat manual on your end, but shouldn't be very time consuming.

Ok, so there is a manual part of this. I understand. Is there a way to automate it?
