Hi Mike,
I have checked out your feed's XML file, and everything looks fine to me. This might be a question for iTunes. Perhaps they are having a problem on their end.
Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

On the iTunes forums I'm being told this is an occasional bug in the iTunes store and it will probably sort itself out in a few days. I'll report back here on what happens. Thanks for double checking the feed for me.

I waited several days and the first podcast still wasn't showing up in iTunes, so I added another podcast to the feed to see what would happen. An hour later the new podcast showed up, but the first one still didn't. So I duplicated the first podcast, gave it a new name and added it to the feed. A few hours later that podcast showed up.
So it appears the very first podcast is being ignored by iTunes. But you still see it when you subscribe to the feed. Weird.
