Hi,

I'm a relatively new user (a couple weeks), and am using the beta for Mac. I have had no trouble with it until now. Early this morning, I tried to post an article to my feed and for no apparent reason, it kicked out all my server settings. I had to complete re-input them; and after doing that, I have not been able to post anything. It says it has "successfully" published, but it hasn't; and when I look in the XML code on my local machine the new story is there, but it has not updated on my site.

I would sure appreciate your help.

Did you happen to run the older 1.6.0.x version? First verify the directory you are publishing to is the right one. There is a FTP/Publishing log.

The log claims to be putting it in the right place (I think), and it definitely claims to have successfully published. Of course, I can't find a date or time in the log, so for all I know, this is from a previous entry. There is no longer any log entry for anything I've ever done with the software except one upload (undated).

I have not ever had/owned/run any version except the one I'm using.

I do not know why my server settings disappeared. It is possible I have not reset them correctly, but it does say it's connecting, and an examination of the other subdirectories indicates it's not putting anything in them.

I'm stumped.

Is it possible that your server is caching the old version? Could you post the URL, or email to , and I will tell you what I see.

Certainly. The website is at http://www.TheVanguard.Org , and the feed is at http://www.TheVanguard.Org/feed/thevanguard.org.xml

Haven't ever had a problem like this with any of our other pages, and the FTP client says that the feed's file hasn't updated (i.e., the time/date stamp hasn't changed). So I don't know.

I see the file looks like it was uploaded at 11:07 yesterday. Can you please upload again, and then cut and paste the "Log" and email it to me at

I just emailed it to you. Please note: I have supposedly "successfully" published the feed multiple times since 11:07 yesterday.
