Hi,
I'd like to know if there is (or if it would be possible
to convert) an rss reader that acts like a todo list for a
given feed. Specifically, my question is if it's possible
to make feedreader synchronize entirely with a feed when
updating. By entirely I mean that instead of behaving
incrementally when updating the feed, the aggregator
compares every existing headline with the feed source,
such that each existing headlines are updated, deleted,
or unchanged according to the source of the feed.
(Alternatively this could be accomplished reloading all
headlines from scratch the complete feed when updating,
without storing anything client side, although this approach
would prevent tagging existing headlines with user
supplied information)
This would allow updating headlines that have changed,
as well as removing headlines that no longer exist in
the feed. Both of these would be useful in making the
feed act like a todo list.
thanks in advance
