Suddenly my xml feed is not validating. Below is the Feed Validator result although I'm finding the same thing on several others. Why is this happening???
The first thing you'll want to do is check the upload settings in FFA, then re-publish the feed and try to access it. If you still receive a 404 error, that means the feed is being published to a location other than http://atlantasidestreets.com/, so you'll want to go in to FFA and go to Feed - Publish, then click on Edit and modify the Feed, Image and Enclosure paths to point at the correct directory on your FTP server.
Sorry, but I'm still having a problem resolving this xml recognition issue. I've confirmed my FTP pathway from FFA to my web hoster and it is valid, correct and working. Is there some FFA software update I'm not aware of? It's odd that one day I'm validating with no problem and the next, I'm getting a 404. Below is the body of the Feed Validator message. Many thanks.

It looks like this is a web page, not a feed. I looked for a feed associated with this page, but couldn't find one. Please enter the address of your feed to validate.

Hm... you may want to speak with your web hosting provider or web master, then. If you've confirmed the FTP path in FFA and are receiving confirmation that the file is being uploaded, then it's being placed somewhere other than the root of http://atlantasidestreets.com/ as there is no Atlanta_Sidestreets.xml that resides on the root of your website.
Once you find out where that file is located, you can either update the feed link with the valid link or you can have the file moved to the appropriate location but if you do, make sure you update the upload/publish settings in FFA to match so it doesn't publish the file to the wrong location next time.
I notice in the FFA XML source window that my auto discovery code is not showing up and I'm unable to put it at top where it needs to be when attempting to edit it there. Below is the FFA xml file name you assigned me that I've been using from the very beginning.
I successfully inserted it directly onto my web page's file manager.
That's odd isn't it?
Feed Title:Atlanta Sidestreets
Feed URL:http://atlantasidestreets.com/Atlanta_Sidestreets.xml
Copy the following into your webpage
Below is how my XML Source looks before I attempt to edit and save:

It looks the same way as above, unchanged, AFTER I've attempted to insert the auto discovery code below:
isn't 'sticking' in your feed because it isn't valid RSS XML code. However, it doesn't belong in the feed anyway. The purpose of 'feed discovery code' is to be added to the index/default webpage of a website so that a visitor to the site can find the site's RSS feed.
The code should be added to the default/index webpage, not the feed.
