I have tried to cut an item (let's say....) second item down and tried to place in the 13th item position which works, but the original 13th item does not shift up or down it simply disappears and becomes an "untitled" empty item at the top.

Are you using the blue Up and Down arrows to move the selected item in the list? Optionally, you could use 'Move Item Up' and 'Move Item Down' from the 'View' menu.

I was using those until I discovered the Cut-n-paste function. I'm using the FFA for community events. I list the items by dates. Many times after I have my 1 through 30 (dates of the month) listed, I will get additionaly listings. I was hoping not to have to press the down arrow 30 times each time I had to add a new event near the end of the month.

A valuable feature would be the ability to add an item anywhere in the feed. The up and down arrows are good for moving things a few places, but it's not always used that way.
