With the 4th of July holiday here in the USA and vacations it will take a few days to actually post a release on the website. But I have put on my .Mac acount a zip file containing the new categories. Here are simple instructions to install the file yourself.
1) From in Finder select "Go" -> "iDisk" -> "Other Users Public Folder..."
2) Enter in "jehousley" and copy iTunesCategory.plist.zip onto your desktop.
3) Double click on iTunesCategory.plist.zip to extract the iTunesCategory.plist file
4) Open the "Applications" folder and Control-Click on FeedForAll
5) Select "Show Package Contents"
6) Open "Contents"
7) Resource "Resources"
8) Copy the iTunesCategory.plist file from the Desktop to replace the one in this directory.
That will update the list of categories to the new list from Apple.

I followed the instructions above using FFA 2.0.0.0b3 and I don't see a list of iTunes categories to choose from. If I try typing them in, it doesn't seem to conform to the iTunes standard and it won't validate.

Try downloading and following the steps again. The only way the list of iTunes categories won't show up is if the file was currupted.

Can you post a screen capture of what that list would look like when it is working properly?
Can you also post some instructions about just where one goes in the program to to trigger that list?
Thanks,

There are good screen shots and instructions in the "Podcast for iTunes® Tutorial" that is in the "Tutorials" section of the help.

Hi guys !!!
I downloaded the file: iTunesCategory.plist.zip and follow the instructions...
My podcast old category is : Sports ...
and when I try to change to the NEW Itunes category : Sports&Recreation...this message appears :
ERROR IN XML
The following error was detected on line 22:
Found illegal character while parsing element tag
You may either abandon your changes and revert back to before you started editing or continue editing and fix the error.
What can I do ?
