I posted a while back asking how to shut off the HTML insersions and changes in the program. No one has posted how to do this. Please post this solution.

If you will not tell me how to shut off the auto-HTML can I send you back the CD and get atleast a partial refund although I would prefer a full refund. I found a competing product that has about the same look and feel as feed for all, except it allows the user to select whatever encoding they want (VITAL) And does not auto insert any HTML so what I type is what I get. (and Yes it has a WYSIWYG HTML editor for those who want to use it.) In otherwords -- the other product is exactly what I want.

I feel like I got duped into buying a program to try to gain access to a php script that does not even work (and yes I downloaded the latest version version of the mixer) only to find that the program does not run the same regstered as it does unregistered. Frankly the changes that the program makes to my code make me angry, and I'm tired of it.

Please refund me, or tell me how to turn off the auto edit.

I got to looking a little closer at what is actually going on and correct me if I'm wrong, but it will leave the cose that I type in for the most part. Since in the XML file itself the program parses what I type turning it into character codes & and so forth.

So as not to confuse the hello (minus o) out of the user, It decodes the characters in the on screen display. Quite smart thinking actually. However, it would be nice if it would simply leave decode and not interpret.

I like to use

and not
because I use css and have much more control over the text with

. I finally figured out how to trick the program into making

work by adding a class statement to it (or any other tag)

yadda

yadda2

.

This is right in the XML file, but on screen it looks like this

yadda

yadda2

That's just wrong on so many levels. I guess what I'm asking for is a new feature in the 2.0 realase to include decoding of the

tag as is. Another nice feature would be the inclusion of XHTML standards. XHTML as a standard is only 7 years old I can't understand why hardly anyone supports it.

Thanks guys and gals!

I will have development re-address the

tags and see if they can be handled in a more standard way. I will also look into the possibility of a setting to leave all HTML in the descriptions untouched.
