I've tried repeatedly, checking and rechecking, but I can't upload to my website (hosted on Yahoo) and built with Yahoo! SiteBuilder. I KNOW I've got username and password right - keep getting the "unable to connect" info at the bottom. Here's the log with the URL and username removed for security reasons:
7/18/2006 1:55:30 PM FTP Upload Session Started
7/18/2006 1:55:30 PM Server: http://
7/18/2006 1:55:30 PM Username:
7/18/2006 1:55:30 PM Password: ******
7/18/2006 1:55:30 PM Mode: port
7/18/2006 1:55:30 PM Path: pods.html/
7/18/2006 1:55:30 PM Filename: WesternAgNetwork.xml
7/18/2006 1:55:30 PM Connecting to server...
7/18/2006 1:55:52 PM Upload Failed
7/18/2006 1:55:52 PM Unable to connect
Is this a yahoo problem or something I've done wrong with feedforall?
Steve

I notice that in the 'Server' field you have "http:// ". FeedForAll's FTP feature must be used to upload to an FTP server, so the 'Server' field doesn't need to start with 'http:// ', just enter the name of your FTP server (i.e. ftp.mywebserver.com).

I tried it both ways - with the http:// and w/o. Could the Yahoo server that hosts my website NOT be an FTP server? Could that be my problem?
Thanks, Stephen

Okay, I learn about FTP and how to access the FTP server. I'm able to connect but can't complete the upload getting an "invalid path ..." message. One of the problems with your tutorial is that the sample images on your website are too small to be able to read what is typed in each window. So, I'm stumped. Where can I get a more detail explaination of what URL information should be put in each of the steps that its called for.
Thanks, Stephen

Chances are you just aren't giving it the correct folder names.
Probably the simplest option would be to install the FeedForAll beta release. It has a option on the FTP screen to browse through the folders on the FTP server, in order to specify the correct destination for your RSS feed file.
More info on the beta release can be found here (including a download link). If you are alread a registered user of FeedForAll, your current key will also work with the beta release, and all your data will be retained on the upgreade.
