Hi Jim

Just bought your scripts. RSSmesh seems to be excately what I have been looking for. Thanks. I had to change CHMOD to 777 for the directory on my server though.

When I merge a bunch of feedburner feeds I notiched that some of the links on the titles are changed/stripped for important info from the end.
Example:
In my "original"feedburner feed (http://feeds.feedburner.com/mortensmisc) the heading
"Flere unge forgiftes af festnarko"
links to
http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/mortensmisc/~3/290623686/231235.htm

But when the same story shows up in http://modefrugt.dk/kb/join/merged.php
the link is changed/truncated to only
http://www.dr.dk/nyheder/?rss=true
http://www.dr.dk/Nyheder/Indland/2008/05/14/231235.htm?rss=true or
http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/mortensmisc/~3/290623686/231235.htm would have been OK, but http://www.dr.dk/nyheder/?rss=true is not good enough.

http://www.dr.dk/nyheder/?rss=true is just the frontpage and not the deep link that I need. I would prefer to go via feedburner.

It is only some of my stories that has this problem.

Please advise what I should do to fix this.

My feeds are all to be found on http://mortencopenhagen.blogspot.com/2008/04/mortens-rss-feeds.html

All the best

When I view the merged feed in google reader the above mentioned post links to
http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/Merged/~3/292182305/
Which is also not the needed deep link.

That is an Atom 1.0 feed. RSSMesh is aimed at RSS feeds. It tries to do the right thing with Atom feeds, but there are so many possibilities for links that it is probably getting the wrong one.

In feedburner I can turn off "SmartFeed" and activate "Convert Format" and force my feed to be "RSS 2.0". According to feedburner that will make my feed less compatible to all readers. But will it solve my initial problem in relation to RRSmesh? Or would you recommend me not doint this. I will make a test and come back.

Thanks for your prompt and excellent answers.
