When I execute the php command with the Configfile I get the messasge
Requested DB type is not available. I have used all of the default name.

When I look at the MYSQL the database that I created is there but there are no tables there. How do the tables get created? What does this message mean?

SQL2RSS uses existing databases you have, it doesn't create any databases.

The "Requested DB" message says your PHP does not support MySQL. During the beginning of the script it checks for mysql_connect(), and if it is missing the message is displayed.
