We use RecordforAll to record live Sunday messages, then convert them to files for the internet, CD's, etc. Our recordings have blank spots in them, between words of the speaker. It is as if when there are no sounds, the recording cuts off, then restarts when speaking resumes. It makes for lousy recordings, with a discernible stopping and starting sound between the speaker's every word. To listen to a sample, go to: www.bethelfamilyoffaith.org/sermons.htm and listen to one of our files. All have been recorded with RecordforAll.

Is there a setting somewhere that will eliminate this problem? Help!!

Hmm... well, I just listened to your "What Have You Done For Me Lately" post and I can't detect what you're referring to? The audio quality sounded a bit like stereo quality but that's most likely either the microphone, bit rate, or audio card you're using. Have you tried listening to any of your mp3's on another computer to see if it makes a difference?
