I haven't recieved a response from the tech support email. So hopefully you'll get my questions here.

1 - I would like to keep the files in a subfolder off the root.

Example: http://www.domain.com/subfolder/mynewconfig.php instead of http://www.domain.com/mynewconfig.php .

But when I do that it messes up the relative links in the item template link, and the relative links I'm using in the description from my DB.

Example: relative link to a file in the root of my site "sitefile.html" comes out http://www.domain.com/subfolder/sitefile.html instead of http://www.domain.com/sitefile.html.

2 - I read about using CSS external links, and I'm familiar with the process. But no matter what I try the CSS has no effect. Instead I've been using some old-fashioned html font coding. Will that cause a problem, and is there a common problem preventing the use of external CSS?

3 - One of the reasons I want to keep the files in a subfolder, is to keep it clean when I use more than one feed. I'm assuming I can just put another set of files in a newly named subfolder, then redo the config file and templates to a different DB table. Is that the best way to do it? (I have to fix the relative link issue in order to do that). Or is there a better method for multiple feeds?

4 - I've been testing out the alternate links for the browser RSS button, but I can't figure out how to make the RSS file open in a new window. The target="_blank" does not work like in a standard link. See below the links I'm using in the head:

<link rel="alternate" type="application/rss+xml" href="http://www.domain.com/rss.php1" target="_blank" />
<link rel="alternate" type="application/rss+xml" href="http://www.domain.com/forums/rss.php2" target="_blank"/>

5 - What exactly is "<docs></docs>" for in the "channel template"?

6 - There are all kinds of cross-browser problems:

- All links are no good in Firefox.

- Nothing but code in Chrome

- All links are no good in Opera

- Nothing but an xml code view in IE6

I don't like to use my domain in a forum, but let me know and I can email you my address and the files.

Thank you very much,

I could really use your help in getting tis setup correctly.
