I just bought RecordForAll, and I tried to Export my first playlist to an mp3, but it keeps giving me a C++ error "Assertion Failed." It happened at the same point each time, so I deleted that portion of the track (not that I would want to do that, but just to get my first recording finished). It did get farther, but then crashed again, so I deleted THAT part also, then it crash on an earlier portion. The only thing I can think is that the original file was recorded by a different program. Could that cause a problem? If I can't fix this, then I can't use the program and that would suck. Any ideas? |

That's really strange, it shouldn't be happening, especially not with a baseline format of mp3. If you wouldn't mind, can you send an example of the mp3 files that you're using to support at feedforall dot com so I can have a look at the compression method? |

I've sent a copy, though it doesn't include the place where the error occurred. I hope you can still use it. |

Sometimes the audio recording files (music) are "protected" to prevent copying, did you record the file yourself? |

I have been using Record for All software for several years without incident. Now, I am getting the assertion failure message when I try to export. It gets about 77% finished and fails. Any fixes to this issue? FYI I was asked to update Adobe when I opened my Record for all, and I closed that box without updating, would that have an effect? |
